600,000 sq ft. Capacity for 2,500+ people. 43 washrooms and shower rooms. Three different ownerships, now Portsmouth City Council. Through all of it, the same cleaning partner: Eco Drift, on site since 2012, when the relationship began with a car valeting service appointed by Highcross on sustainability grounds.

What technology changed

• Proximetrix, our software platform, which connects to wireless sensors: identified a washroom seeing up to 600 people a day, saving 45 minutes of labour daily in that one location, and eliminated extra event-day shifts entirely
• Dryft scrubber dryers across all 43 washrooms: 50% time saving on quarterly deep cleans, 8 hours saved per deep clean session
• BubbleFlush ultrasonic descaling: a 10-minute descale cycle cut to 30 seconds per toilet
• Real-time shift monitoring: every shift logged, full audit trail for estate management

The results

KPI scores rose from 67% to a consistent 88 to 92%. Staff retention on the contract is near 100%. The estate has benchmarked us several times and we have always proven good value. CupCycle, the only paper cup recycling scheme in a Portsmouth office park, is now in its third year, and a Hygiene Bank donation point operates at the Amazon locker area, B2000.
